1.Spicy and sour with lemongrass soup(Tom Yam Koong)
If you ask any foreigners who have ever visited Thailand about their favourite Thai food, their answers, almost without exception, will be Tom Yam Koong or spicy shrimp soup, is the number one of the top ten Thai dishes loved by foreigners, according to a recent investigation. And in fact, it is one of the most favourite dishes for Thai people as well. It is simply because it is so delicious for its unique sour and spicy taste that you will certainly need it more and more if you try it just once.

2. Coconut milk soup with chicken (Tom Kha Gai)
Tom Kha Gai is a highly popular Thai soup know for its intense and aromatic flavors and its rich and creamy coconut-infused broth. Tom Kha Gai translates as “boiled galangal chicken. Galangal looks similar to ginger and is related to it but has a more peppery and pungent flavour.This is a quick and easy soup to make but there is nothing simple about the deliciously complex flavors.

3.Thai spicy mixed vegetable soup with prawns(Kang Liang Goong Sod )
This dish is in between soup and curry. It’s is like clear soup but a bit spicy as curry. The belief of the ancients believed that this "curry" is useful in helping Prasa milk for women after childbirth. Old milk and even the flu as well with it. Easy to make and very healthy too. You can use many kinds of vegetables such as pumpkin , squash,gourd, carrot,baby corn, corgette and mushrooms. Fragant of basil and shallots combine very well with Prawns.

4. Steamed fish in lemon and lemongrass soup (Pla Neung Ma Naaw)
Pla Neung Ma Naaw is steamed whole fish with a lime dressing.It's one of Thailand's most requested fish dishes and is normally served over a portable furnace of smoking embers in a fish shaped metal dish.The idea of the deep fish dish is that you pour the 'soup' style sauce over it and it bubbles away staying warm while you eat it. It looks like the dish is designed for cooking the fish in.

5.Aromatic Asian eggs and pork stew(Khai Pa Low)
This is a very different Thai dish — one of Freddie’s favourites — sweet, salty, and redolent of warm, fragrant, almost Middle Eastern spices. It’s real Thai comfort food.

6. Cucumber with minced pork stuffed in clear soup(Moo yut sai)
The lovely dish of healthy, excellent clear soup of cucumber stuffed with pork and vermicelli. The soup has an excellent balance of flavors. It feels rather refreshing in the palate and clears the taste buds for the next bite.

7.Mixed vegetable with chicken in clear soup(Tom Juet)
A light vegetable, chicken or pork broth with vegetables and celery, to which minced pork, soft tofu, seaweed, glass noodles and mushroom can be added. This soup can also be called Kaeng juet.

8.Rice soup with prawn(Khaaw toom)
Khaaw toom is a staple in Thailand, being widely eaten as a breakfast dish as well as an accompaniment to lunch and dinner. It can be cooked plain (without the prawn), or as here with prawn. It can also be made by simple substitution with chicken, pork, or any combination of seafood that you have to hand. It can be made with cooked left over chicken/shrimp etc, or as here with fresh ingredients. It is however almost always made from pre-cooked rice from a day before (though not always left-overs: the cook will often simply ladle enough rice from the electric rice pot to make the soup shortly before serving). Made with chicken it is a popular meal for recovering patients who still feel a little queasy.

9.Massaman curry
Massaman curry is a Thai curry dish that is Muslim in origin. Massamancurry was considered a “training curry” for children due to its lower level of spiciness compared to that of red, green, or panaeng curry. A thick, Indian style curry containing coconut milk, usually of stewed beef, and containing roasted dried spices that are rarely found in other Thai curries.

10.Green curry(Gaeng khaew waan)
A coconut curry made with fresh green chillies and flavoured with Thai basil, usually with chicken (Gaeng khaew waan gai) or Pork ( Gaeng khaew waan moo).

11.Red curry(Gaeng daeng)
This Thai Red Curry Recipe is fragrant and sumptuous, and can be made anywhere from mild to red-hot, depending on your taste. It starts with a homemade Thai red curry paste which is easily and you have a healthy and hearty curry dish that will awaken your senses and boost your mood.

12.Yellow curry(Gaeng ga ree)
Yellow Thai chicken curry, seen as Gang Garee Gai or Kaeng Kari on English menus, is one of the most fragrant and hearty curries in Thai cuisine.The essence of making Thai curries is to heat the thick creamy part of the coconut milk until the oil and milk separates, and then frying it with curry paste until it becomes fragrant. If you get this part right, the rest is simple.

13.Panang curry
Panang Curry (sometimes written Penang Curry) is a dry curry which is fried in coconut milk, and not boiled. Panang uses the thicker part of the milk, or the cream only. It’s typically made with beef, although you can make it with pork or chicken as well. It is usually just meat, and is seasoned with sliced lime leaves and sometimes a few leaves of Thai basil.

14. Roasted duck in red curry (Gaeng phed ped yaang)
Red Curry with Roasted Duck is popular on Thai restaurant menus especially in the West. It is not the kind of dish that Thai people would usually make at home but is a good choice for a special occasion such as a dinner party. If you wish to make your own curry paste for this dish then see me.

15. Jungle curry (Gaeng paa)
This is a nicely spiced vegan curry. It can easily add slices of meat or seafood. They call this jungle curry because it has no coconut milk and no coconuts grow in the jungles of northern Thailand. Jungle curry is rich of fresh herbs and mixed vegetables this is even great for a heart-healthy diet.

16.Sauted fish in dry red curry (Chuchee fish)
Chu Chee is traditional curry sauce for seafood. such as Fish, prawns and scallops. This simple Thai curry recipe. Fish is quickly cooked in a rich Thai red curry sauce, seasoned with fresh sweet basil and served over steamed jasmine rice.

17.Stir fried broccoli with deep fried pork(Cana moo krob)
Broccoli with Crispy Belly Pork is a very popular dish in Thailand where it is called ‘Kana Moo Grob” or ‘Pad Pak Kana Moo Grob’. Chinese Broccoli with Crispy Belly Pork is not a spicy dish but full of flavour and the Chinese Broccoli not only complements the fatty pork but adds attractive colour to the dish. The great delight of Kana Moo Grob is the crispy pork skin which adds both texture and flavour.

18.Stir fried prawn with chillies and basil(Pad gra prao koong)
Pad gra pao is an extremely popular one-plate dish served at many roadside stalls and restaurants throughout Thailand. The main ingredient is usually chicken (gai), but pork (moo) or prawn (koong) are also common alternatives to chicken. Using the example of pad gra prao gai, the chicken is stir-fried in oyster and soy sauce with a combination of chillies, green beans, garlic, sugar and holy basil. Pad gra prao Koong, one of central Thai food dish that is famous throughout Thailand. Packed with specific spicy-flavor and fragrance.






19.Stir fried chicken with cashew nuts( Gai pad med mamuang Himmapan)
This stir-fried chicken with cashew nuts is a family recipe. It is a light dish with a hint of spiciness. Like a few other Thai stir-fried dishes, chicken is lightly deep-fried then sautéed with the sauce to add a depth of flavor. Deep-fried dried chili add color to the dish along with subtle flavor. The cashew nuts tie the dish together with their crunchiness and mouth-watering flavor. It is great to eat as part of a communal meal or as an appetizer with cold beer. In Thailand, it is often served as an appetizer.
20.Stir fried prawn with curry powder(Koong pad phong ga ree)
This is a dish of scrambled, curried eggs served with shrimp and spring onion. Thailand has China to the north and India to the west and this dish is the Thai merging of those two traditions. Here I’ve used shrimp, you can also use crab and other seafood.

21.Stir fried chicken with ginger (Gai pad khing)
Gai pad khing is a Thai dish of stir fried chicken mixed ginger in a powerful, aromatic, and delicious dish. If you love the flavor of ginger, gai pad khing will surely be a winner. Boneless chicken, a few assorted vegetables like carrots, onions, snow peas. The ginger is strong but not overpowering.
22.Drunken stir fried (Pad kee mao)
Pad kee mao is a medley of fresh vegetables and herbs such as peppercorns, finger roots and basil. This dish a little bit spicy and very easy to cook. You can use meat or seafood.
23.Stir fried Beef in oyster sauce(Nuee pad numman Hoi)
Pad Nummun hoi is one of quick stir fired dish. You can use with many kind of meat and mixed vegetables as you like but the most well know is beef with asparagus or borccoli work very well with oyster sauce. Let's try it. Maybe you will find your new favourite dish.
24.Clear Noodle soup(Guay Teow Nahm)
Thailand's streets are crammed with food stalls on every corner, many of them selling some version of noodle soup, or Guay Teow nahm, the locals' easy and cheap comfort food. It is one of many healthy and tasty soups.
